About Courtney

Courtney Pittman is a Chattanooga native who has worked as an Occupational Therapist with the pediatric population since 2003. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. Courtney has primarily worked in the outpatient setting serving a wide variety of diagnoses, such as but not limited to: autism, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, sensory processing dysfunction, developmental delay, etc.

Courtney has been a guest lecturer for the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga's Occupational Therapy doctorate program. She has taught individual classes in their pediatric course on autism, feeding, and how primary reflex patterns influence infant and child development.

Courtney started studying the Masgutova Method in 2017. MNRI® (Masgutova Neuro-Sensory-Motor-Reflex Integration) was founded by Dr. Svetlana Masgutova and is based on her extensive research into primary reflex patterns and their effects on overall development and healing. The MNRI® protocols are safe, simple, and effective in supporting the development of mature motor, cognitive, and emotional skills.
